The law firm of Valters Gencs is a full-service, general practice, international business law firm focused on tax, litigation, corporate, immigration, finance and intellectual property law. The firm was established in 2000 by founding partner Valters Gencs, a US and Latvia educated lawyer.
The firm is an active member of the Latvian Bar Association and International Bar Association, as well as foreign chambers of commerce in Latvia. Valters Gencs has been appointed several times by the Prime Minister to act in legislative commission on introduction of tax and intellectual property law. The firm also serves as a board member of the Swedish Chamber of Commerce in Latvia.
