Jones Day revamps Euro management

US law Jones Day has revealed a number of changes to the leadership, including putting an American lawyer in charge of its European and Middle Eastern practice. Current Washington DC chief Mary Ellen Powers (pictured) will take up the new role from 1 January, 2011. Other changes will see Bernard Amory take over from Luc Houben in Brussels, Mercedes Fernandez succeed Luis Riesgo in Madrid and Sophie Hagege become Paris head, following on from long-standing local managing partner Wesley Johnson.
