Garrigues inks Indian agreement

Garrigues has become one of the few European law firms to link up with an Indian counterpart. The Iberian heavyweight has forged a cooperation agreement with Dua Associates, which has 50 partners and eight offices in the country. While Anglo-Saxon firms have targeted India few Continental practices have joined forces with domestic players. Exceptions include French outfit DS Avocats, which in March entered into an association with 25-lawyer RDA Legal.
