Polish firm Domański Zakrzewski Palinka (DZP) has launched a tax practice after adding two partners to its ranks.
Joanna Wierzejska joined the firm earlier this month to head the new tax team. She previously worked at big four accounting firm PwC. The second recruit is Artur Nowak. He previously worked at PwC, DZP and Dorota Szubielska before launching his own firm in 2003. Nowak has worked for clients including Coca Cola Beverages Polska, Nokia Poland, British American Tobacco Polska, and Philip Morris Polska.
Krzysztof Zakrzewski, DZP managing partner, said: “In this age of fierce competition and fast information flow, our priority is to offer our clients legal solutions that enable them to achieve both their business and financial objectives. What this means in practice is providing legal services that offer optimum solutions, from a tax perspective as well.”
