Heathrow airport is 24km south-west of the centre of London, and is accessible via train, underground, bus and taxi. The Heathrow Express train takes around 15 minutes to arrive at London Paddington rail station. It costs £14.50 (€22) single and £28 (€42) return. From there, take either the underground or taxi to the City of London. A taxi direct from the airport will cost around £50 (€75) and take around one hour. An underground service into the City will take around one hour and cost £5 (€8).
